June 7, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Good Evening,
We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow!
Facilitator/Moderator Team: Yuko Kudo, Michelle Kuchuk, Tony Castrigno, Rob Laqui
Topic: We are excited to share this week’s lab meeting, which will showcase Honest Accomplice Theatre (our very own Maggie Keenan-Bolger’s theater company) & The Trans Literacy Project.
Maggie Keenan-Bolger (she/her) – Co-Founder of HAT/Coordinator of The Trans Literacy Project
Maybe Burke (they/she) – Artistic Associate of HAT/Founder of The Trans Literacy Project
Before the lab… From our presenters, “We’d love for folks to watch at least one episode of The Trans Lit Project before the session if possible – they’re 5-10 minutes each! A great place to start is with our first episode in our 101 series:” [This video is under 5 minutes long!]

Questions from the Facilitator/Moderator Team for Maggie & Maybe
*To ask additional questions in advance, please fill out this short Google form!
1. How was Honest Accomplice Theatre founded, and what led to the creation of the Trans Literacy Project?
2. How was the Trans Lit Project developed — how did it go from something you were working on to something that was a finished project?
3. How did the Trans Lit Project gain traction?
4. What has been happening during the pandemic? Has it impacted the direction of your work, and if so, how?
5. How do you engage the community in your work (both your intended demographic and other community partners)? Additionally, do you see your programming and initiatives more through an educational lens or an activist one (or both)?
6./Open ended/: Discussion of how HAT/TLP is a real-world application of T3i values, and the challenges and successes of living out these values.
